How-to: Make Glowing Slime

In this video, I will demonstrate how to make slime that glows in the dark.

Materials

  • Elmers Glow in the Dark Glue
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Water
  • Baking Soda
  • Contact Lens Solution
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Measuring Cups
  • Spatula

Instructions

  1. In the mixing bowl, add a half cup of water.
  2. Add 4 fluid ounces of the glue
  3. Mix completely. This is more about breaking the glue into smaller parts.
  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking sode and mix completely. The baking soda will dissolve into the water.
  5. Add 2 tablespoons of contact lens solution and stir like crazy until it thickens.
  6. Now the best part, use your hands to knead the slime. It will be a little sticky at first but will start to thicken.
  7. Now take your slime to a dark room to watch it glow.
